Director Statement
In the Buddhist tradition, in the “Bardo Thodol – the Tibetan Book of the Dead” it is written that you will approach the life after death with the same state of mind, same emotions and feelings you were experiencing just before dying.
I always found this extremely fascinating, the fact that you can actually chose how to face your final destiny, especially when you see it coming.
This is a movie about minorities, and their right to be. A movie about defeated fear and sheltering tenderness.
